 Destination Maui Sunseeker

Remember how your heart raced from excitement just before you landed at OGG? Travel to Maui really is exciting, mysterious, adventurous, thrilling and yet majestically beautiful, whether it’s your first or fiftieth time. Staying at a Maui resort should exactly fulfill all of those desires and that’s what differentiates the Maui Sunseeker.

While we say we are an LGBT resort, that is secondary to our story. The truth is we are about the experience. We want our guests to be themselves, relax and enjoy our beautiful gardens and saline pool or soak in the hot tub under the Hawai’ian sky.  The entire staff strives to have our guests experience something about Maui, housekeepers and maintenance included. That true intimacy can only happen at a small boutique resort, like the Sunseeker. It’s also why we have a repeat guest ratio over 40%, an unprecedented statistic in the hotel industry. Every time is a new and exciting experience for even our most seasoned guests.

At Maui Sunseeker, we want our guests to use our free beach chairs and towels and ice filled coolers and go out for the day on the road to Hana or Little Beach or on one of the best activities that money can buy through our Sunseeker Activity concerige (SunseekerActivities.com). Go experience this amazing paradise!!

The origin of the Sunseeker is steeped in a firm belief of non-discrimination and personal freedom for sexual identity and all individuality. While we cater to the discerning LGBT traveler, we warmly welcome all awesome people and give them as much love and care as every other guest. The rainbow flag and the Hawai’ian rainbows reflect the colors of all people and their orientation.  So really, our name should have every letter of the alphabet that represents all of our guests. Would it be too much to call ourselves the Maui Sunseeker LGBTH Resort?

Our only restriction is we are an adult only property as personal freedom includes being clothing optional in the areas of the pool/hot tub and rooftop deck. Our demographic is currently about 50% gay men, 35% lesbian women and 15% very cool straight, trans or bi couples and individuals. Many guests make new lifetime friends while staying here.

We really don’t stretch the truth when we share stories of how some guests have emotional meltdowns when they say aloha at checkout because something about this place magically changed their lives, or more accurately their interpretation of life. People just want to be themselves and be free, no matter what their belief or background and this is the place to do that in an amazing paradise setting. That’s why our motto is:

Destination Maui Sunseeker: Your home under the rainbow!
