Maui Sunseeker Receives Mayor's Exceptional Small Business Award
The Maui County Mayor's Office of Economic Development and the Maui Chamber of Commerce honored Maui Sunseeker as Exceptional Small Business (with 10 or fewer employees) at their annual Mayor's Awards Dinner held on Thursday, February 26 at the King Kamehameha Golf Club. Maui Sunseeker was nominated for this award by Alvin Santander, Vice President, Bank of Hawaii.

We are so thrilled to announce that after 3 ½ years of approval and construction process, the 400 building is open and available to rent. Last week, we received our final approvals from the County of Maui for the construction and were able to add the Oceanview Penthouse Suite 421 and the Standard Room 422 to the inventory.

Fagbug Event Coming to Maui!
Documentary filmmaker, Erin Davies, created a chronicle of her trip across the country after her VW Bug was tagged by someone who spray-painted ‘fag’ and ‘u r gay’ because she had a rainbow sticker in the back window. As an effort to stand up to the ‘bullying’, Erin left the graffiti on the car and toured the US & Canada, filming the experience. The result is an award winning documentary that has been seen by hundreds of students and adults in the 48 contiguous states, entitled ‘Fagbug’.
