There’s also a bit of history on the Civil Unions Law that Neil Abercrombie signed this year, going into effect on 1/2/12. And to show you how loving the Hawi’ians are, you’ll be surprised to read that Hawaii was the first state to attempt passage of Civil Unions for lesbians and gay people in 1993!!
