Getting Civil – what will same sex unions in Hawaii mean for actual people?

Today an new article was published in our local mauitime newspaper.  The whole issue is about weddings.  There is an excellent article written about same sex unions in Hawaii and what it will mean to actual real people.  We highly recommend a quick read of the article at this link – http://www.mauitime.com/Articles-i-2011-06-16-76104.113117-The-2011-Wedding-Issue.html .

In Hawaii we are all pulling for our friends and family in New York as the gay marriage bill moves its way through the legislative process.  Please do your part to support the cause for equality.

Beautiful day on Maui today.  High clouds and lite winds making for a pleasant afternoon. Warmest Aloha from the Maui Sunseeker LGBT Resort Staff and Management.

Mahalo for your nice comments. We spent a lot of time and effort on the new website and want to make it interactive and alive, not just a place where you visit to ‘Get a Room’. So glad you enjoy the forum. Chuck the Owner

Mahalo Carlos….we proudly and firmly believe in equal rights for all people and fight discrimination wherever we can. Your comment is firmly in line with our beliefs as an LGBT owned and LGBT operated business catering to the LGBT clientele. We are proud that Hawaii took action to be fair and make Civil Unions legal. We now push for Marriage Equality.

I do believe in fairness in all aspects for whatever reason it may be of sex, race and religion. LGBT’s are also human being it may seem to be different but we feel the same and should be treated equally.
