Did you know Hawai’i was the very first state to attempt to pass Civil Unions?

In the latest edition of ‘The Advocate’, you’ll find an article entitled “Mowie Wowie” that features the Maui Sunseeker LGBT Resort.  There’s also a bit of history on the Civil Unions Law that Neil Abercrombie signed this year, going into effect on 1/2/12.  And to show you how loving the Hawi’ians are, you’ll be surprised to read that Hawaii was the first state to attempt passage of Civil Unions for lesbians and gay people in 1993!!  Save that fact in your head for the next round of Gay Trivia that you play….
