The other gay group on Maui is made up of vacationing singles or couples, many of whom return to the island every year. The scene on Maui isn't focused so much on high energy or heavy cruising but more on enjoying the incredible beauty found here.
Whichever group you identify with, you'll find lots of opportunities to have fun, participate in activities and mix with the locals. Information on current local gay activities can be found online at www.mauigayinfo.com and www.pridemaui.com.
There currently is no full-time gay bar, but most places are gay friendly, and a couple even have a gay night! Check out the websites or ask us what's going on when you're here.
